Executive Team

Parliamentarian - Jade Walia

Honourable Advisors, Fellow Secretariats, Diligent Student Officers, Enthusiastic Delegates, and Most-Esteemed Guests.  Greetings, I am Jade Walia, a junior at Kang Chiao International School Linkou Campus, and it is my utmost honor to be serving as your Parliamentarian at LINMUN V.  An avid MUNer in Taiwan, I began my MUN journey in 8th grade as a shy and closed-off delegate, as most MUNers do. As my experience in MUN grew, so did my enthusiasm for it. I soon became excited at the prospect of attending many different conferences. So obviously, when I found out about the opportunity to be able to organize a unique MUN experience at KCISLK, I excitedly hopped on board! LINMUN V is a student-organized conference that our wonderful and diligent team has worked tirelessly to build from the ground up. We have all worked to create a unique experience for all delegates, chairs, advisors, and MUN enthusiasts all across Taiwan.  This year, the theme of LINMUN V is ‘Innovative Solutions for Humanity’. Although seemingly broad, this theme highlights many current issues from all walks of life, as well as the increasing need to create solutions to these withstanding issues. Therefore, we are excited to watch all of you young diplomats engaged in exciting debates on these issues! Lastly, on behalf of the entire LINMUN V team, I sincerely hope to see you all in February for LINMUN. I can assure you that it will be the best and most memorable conference yet! Thank You and see you all at LINMUN V!

Secretary General - Ginia Wu

Greetings from the Secretary-General of LINMUN V, I am Ginia Wu from KCISLK. It has been a pleasure to be part of the pre-conference preparation team. This year we decided to take your MUN experience in a different direction from previous years. This means the team added many unseen details and wonderful elements that will level up the event and make it better than before. This conference will expand your vision internationally and expand your abilities. I can guarantee that this conference will be the best of the best in Taiwan and at the same time be very inclusive. It is a whole new experience, and delegates will love it. All I wanted to say is that “even if you are a first-time MUNer, do not be afraid; JUST DO IT and you will be LOVIN IT.”
